Verbano Film Srl has been operating in the flexible packaging sector since 1987 producing cast polypropylene films with particular attention to international markets.
Thanks to our specialized technicians, and to a 100% Italian production, we are able to study the combinations of raw materials according to the customer’s needs, and arrive together at the realization of the desired material.
Investing in people and technologies has always been the priority, only in this way the company has achieved important objectives over the years, establishing itself as one of the leading companies in the sector.
We always have an eye towards the future and in addition to the strong experience gained over the years, Verbano Film has important expansion projects, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Our History
1980
On the initiative of Carlo and Antonio Platini, with the installation of a line for the production of blown PP, Verbano Plast was founded in 1980, located in Oleggio (NO).
1987
In 1987 Verbano Plast changed its name to Verbano Film s.r.l. and moved to the new production site located in Varallo Pombia (NO), also inaugurated by the arrival of the first cast extrusion plant.
1990/97
The 90s are characterized by technological, qualitative and commercial development, which led the company to increase its production capacity thanks to numerous investments.
2000/21
Years of important investments for the company to increase production capacity and implement the most modern tools making it automated. In addition to the various investments in technology, we place an important focus on certifications and staff expansion.
2023
Today Verbano Film Srl is a more than established reality also at an international level, with a team of about 60 people. The important growth, guaranteed by a cohesive and professional group, has made possible to achieve incredible results, exceeding 40 million in turnover in 2023.
